We have recently completed a major refurbishment of the iconic BBC Maida Vale Studios working with fit out company Overbury PLC. The project has involved the creation of a new main reception, cafe, green room, and artists’ lounge, as well as refurbishment works to the various recording studios. The designs for the project are inspired by the visualisation of sound and the repetition of the number seven, representing the seven notes in the musical scale. In addition, television channel BBC3 and broadcasters TMO, relocated their workplace and studio to Television Centre in White City. As part of the project 30 editing suites were created. We worked alongside the fit-out company to deliver design, design management, graphic design, design coordination and space planning for the relocations
